Shining a Spotlight on Thornhill Slo-Pitch League
Every city has a slo-pitch league, so what makes Thornhill's so special? The one-word answer is: inclusivity. There are four divisions catering to different age groups and skill levels. The Mixed Division welcomes both men and women aged 18 and up, playing Sunday evenings at Grandview, Bishops, and Huntington parks. The Masters Division meets Tuesday nights at Grandview and York Hill East, men's Division games run Wednesday evenings at Bayview and Huntington, while the Ladies Division plays at Grandview, also on Wednesdays.
Each division maintains its own unique atmosphere while sharing the league's core values of sportsmanship and community. Games are scheduled at convenient evening times, making it possible for working professionals to participate.
The League Manager has done an exceptional job organizing the divisions and ensuring smooth operations throughout the season. His dedication to creating an inclusive environment has helped the league grow into what it is today.

SOS Emergency Response Technologies chose to sponsor a team of local residents ranging from novice players to seasoned veterans this past season. They finished with a respectable record, but more importantly, the kind of lasting bonds organized community activities like these are meant to forge.
We were happy to provide our team with high-quality jerseys featuring our company logo, essential safety equipment for practices and games, and dedicated support throughout the season. Building Community On and Off the Field
Thornhill, Ontario is among several communities in and around the GTA SOS Emergency Response Technologies supports through health and economic development sponsorships. The players and spectators present at Thornhill Slo-Pitch League games are equally neighbours and customers. Given the magnitude of equipment we distribute in Southern Ontario, they may one day need one of our AEDs or other emergency response equipment.
But we believe that readiness extends beyond just selling safety equipment, and likewise beyond the borders of Thornhill.
